Not sure what's going on but we've gotten a few of these inquires so far where the customer tried loading the BMW USB update from the official website and this somehow caused the system to not boot and come back with " No signal " on the screen.
When we scan the vehicle on ISTA, the NBT head unit module no longer responds and is red and in all three cases, the head unit needed to be replaced. I would refrain from loading these updates if possible as it seems to be corrupting the bootloader.
