Where is the coolant temperature sensor? I know there is one right by the oil thermostat however is there another coolant temp sensor? I keep getting an error code for the coolant temp sensor. I’ve replaced the one by the oil thermostat several times but it hasn’t changed anything.

I can’t find a reliable full engine diagram for my car. I have seen some posts that say there is a coolant temp sensor on the engine case just below the throttle body. I can see a sensor in that are but I cannot find what that is for.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

What is the sensor that is indicated in this picture? Is that another coolant temp sensor? It’s just below the throttle body.
