I think the pricing for the 3/4 series is insane. New 2008 e90 m3 for the price of a 2014 435i. Yikes.

well this is fucked!
From looking at the options you need to either get the tech package or nav package to stream bluetooth audio from your phone. No stand-alone option for BMW assist (6NL) to be seen!!! You get 6NH Standard as always with no streaming. They added a new option called 6NS which is the same as 6NL just with smartphone intergration....only can get that with nav and tech. Kinda sucks cause i dont need either of those packages!

1. "...Navigation system w/ touchpad..."
This is not a "touch screen" I imagine this refers to "touch-wheel-iDrive knob" ? 2. "302 Anti-theft alarm system" Interesting "free" (STD) with 435i ( not 428i) 3. "..3AP Gray band windshield..." Does this mean tinted top of windshield ? 4. ".. 322 Comfort Access keyless entry .." is there any way to get this w/o ordering ZPP ? ( not a leather fan)

Wait, is Active Driving Assistant (part of the Driver Assistance Plus package) the same thing as Active Cruise Control? Because if so, it looks like you'll be able to order it with the M-Sport line...
I know this has been an option in Europe, but this may be first in the U.S. Looks like the only thing you'll give up is the blind spot detection. Anybody have any clue? Also, the way I'm pricing out this sucker, I'm easily coming in above $60k and I don't imagine there being many great offers available this first year. |

All that extra cost just to restyle and +100 to the badge number?
I know BMW has typically been more expensive than its rivals, but this is stretching that gap. Well, a fool and his money... |

Does anyone else think that BMW's pricing is like the real estate market circa 2005? Eventually, BMW will have to offer great incentives just to move certain cars once the 'newness' wears off.
I remember a C&D article that came out not too long after the new 6 came out how BMW was offering 6 out of the top 10 total amount rebates on all cars available in the US. One of which was the new 6 series. |

I'm pretty sure the convigurator you speak of is on BMW.com not bmwusa.com. That configurator I believe is for European spec cars.

US has been subsidized for Years
The home market and Europe are down, the subsidizing is OVER.
The M235i will probably be more expensive than it should be. But I like it better than the 4. The M235 won't be less than the current 135is so it could be close to 55k. I think a good used M3 or 911 is in my future. |

These numbers are right in line with my estimates for the M-sport 435i. I'm looking at 61K US MSRP and $58K Euro Delivery which should come close to $57K US Invoice and about 53K Euro delivery invoice. If I were to take off premium and lighting pack I could shave off another 4100 US MSRP. Looking forward to bmwconfig.com having real invoice prices on their websites.
Quick questions: does the "100%" for alarm theft (option 302) mean that it's standard on 435i models? is premium package the only way of getting keyless entry and push to start? And for those people saying this car is too expensive what were your expectations? This car is a good deal to me thanks to graduation incentive and BMW experience incentive ($1000+$1000+ 0.9% financing) maybe that's why I find it a nice bargain not to mention the 0$ maintenance program |
