I have a Digital Cluster on a F30 328i Can I get Digital Speed on it using the Bimmercode or Carly App, I am also looking to code Connected Drive is this possible to code it using the iOS applications .

I've bought the adapter for bimmer code which is coming tomorrow for my F31.

I wanted to get an idea of people's must do's when it comes to coding?

Also how do you code it so my Mrs always starts up in eco as she's too scared to have it in anything else haha.

Has anyone else had this happen: Every time I connect to BimmerLink, or Bimmercode my radio pre-sets disappear. After I drive the car they are back after a restart. There has to a period of time involved, because i can start, and restart several time after coding and they stay gone. All the other fault codes go away immediately, upon restart, except for the radio. Any answers?

Depends on your needs and existing specification:

For me, coding the brightness of the day time running lights was a great idea recommend by JLR1969

Other coding:
- Harman Kardon to B&O
- Disable Auto stop start
- sport trans 2tb on the 320d
- video in motion for the dvd changer and tv
- auto fold mirrors on lock
- door handle lights activate on reverse
- auto close sunroof when rain sensor activated

It's normal for settings to be lost during coding but return after. If it is a recurrent loss on subsequent start ups without the adapter plugged in or a permanent loss then it doesn't sound quite right. May be email the developer to let him know?

FEM module near the top, Angel Eyes, can the brightness on low beam from 12% to 80%.

Well, you can set any percent you want but I went with 80.

Coding sets many things back to default depending on the module you coded. You’ll probably find the automatically set date time setting has been unticked. Go back into settings and retick it. If it’s still ticked, untick it and retick it.

Just change your time one time (like add 1 min). Let it save and run with new time. After that enable auto time again.

Platzhalter means placeholder, so they obviously have put it in ready for the real deal.
