BMW needs to make 135i/335i twin turbo again, 0-60 in 5.3 is a step backwards not an improvement.

I think we've been spoiled with the underrated N54 in terms of numbers. I'm pretty sure the N55 in the 2012 335i's make the advertised horsepower, but clearly not any more than that. It is also interesting to note that the fastest 335i ever tested by C & D was the '07 automatic.
I'm convinced that the 335 was aptly named in 2006, as that's about how much horsepower it was putting out. |
