Managed to miss the deer and sunday drivers on that road, but once caught a hare, was in a Pug 306gti at the time, and the front bumper just exploded, nothing left but a million bits, no other damage!

Deer can be a problem on any of Scotlands roads, the worst I've seen was a Citreon of some sort on the A9 with a stag embedded through the windscreen antlers first
Yes I got very lucky one day near Perth when driving along a road when a deer crossed the road at full pelt in front of me, and then as I passed where it had been I could see another 4 cross the same bit of road in the rear view mirror! Even Red arrows would have been impressed at the timing...

Okay you Greek grump

Your 1st,3rd,5th,7th and 9th concern - I've not met Terry, is he really that bad??
2nd, Midges are little bastards that have no other purpose than cause abject misery - but early june they not really got going.
4th It may well rain, indeed it may piss down in biblical proportions, but unless your in a vert with the roof down - who cares.
6th Police Scotland, they hate everyone, so you were not singled out for special attention unless you were hanging a moon with your square ass, then perhaps they were a little curious!
8th Unfortunately I can't bring these roads to you, everywhere is a very long way from N.Scotland, I've just been told to explore the north, you want to come, put in the effort! Would be good to have you!

When - 2 March
Where - GTSussex's house
Need - top up your insurance to m3 cover, Fuel and a set of tyres for an m3

Arthur the Cockney will sell you all of the above, albeit re-imported from the Balkans and Middle East having been stripped from stolen vehicles

Events:-
Longest drift
Longest set of rubber tracks
Best 0-60 time
Best POV self shot video footage on the local dual carriageway

Just a thought....

I can run it into a lamppost for you if you'd like?

I'd be up for a meet dependant on distance!

Location will most likely be the biggest deciding factor for most people, but I'd be up for a meet if we can find a way to make it happen.

I'd be interested in meeting up - dependent on location etc

Somewhere in a field would be good so us xDrive folk can gloat about not getting stuck or grounding their front lips

Good idea! I'd be in, although north of Carlisle X drive wouldn't even get you anywhere, maybe that quadski top gear had a few series' back?

I think we must be prepared for the inevitable X drive vs s drive, diesel vs petrol, and Greek vs everyone else punch ups.

£20 on at least two arrests, maybe some kind of immigration issue as well!

Mods will only turn up, evict half the attendees then make everyone talk to each other from different pubs.

Serious discussions in the lounge bar, abusive banter in the snug, illicit iparts sales in the toilets and probably a naked Greek wanting to wrestle in the car park.
