Yes, you have to pull the vent/trim off (just firmly grab the trim piece by the outer edge and pull). This will allow you to access the light switch and trim from behind. There will be two tabs on the light switch and trim piece, just pull up on them and push out at the same time. The light switch and trim piece will just pop out. Simply pull the wire harness from the switch. Also, the existing button can be modified if you don't want to buy a new light switch.

Thanks!

Not an XDrive, it's RWD on DHP. I parked on the side of a crested road and the light was directly shining in the wheel wells, it's a bit of an optical illusion.

Thanks for the compliment!

Going from a Luxury line to an M-Sport is exciting enough, switching from a 4-door Sedan to a 4-door Coupe is just mind blowing. BMW did a great job with this one.

As the guy above said, better illumination of the car. But the second there's a bit of mist everybody seems to think it's time to turn them on. It's worth mentioning they are only for use in dense fog otherwise they blind other drivers (idiots).

Living in SoCal I doubt I will ever use this but I just like the extra buttons! Heck, I may do this mod just because I like fiddling around with my car.

Or when someone tailgates you. I've thrown them on in those instances and people back off pretty quick

Yes, it's really a nice feature. Besides the cargo and carpet protection they have two pockets to hold small items.

Yes. That is how the car delivers in Europe, that's the way I like it in America.

And they are not "extra"; they are merely restored back where they are supposed to be.

I actually prefer the ones I have now, but I did get rid of the amber front reflectors and black fender vents, they are all body-colored now.

Car looks very clean now, I love it, I'm getting tons of compliments as Mineral Grey is the best exterior color, Coral Red is a bold interior color, and despite the fact that I live in the BMW capitol of the world where you can see 100 BMW's a day I am the only Gran Coupe I've seen and people stop dead in their tracks to gawk at my ride. Compared to my 3 Series, I'm a rock star, I'm Brad Pitt when I pull into Pottery Barn.

greatest 4 door BMW ever?
Take off those fake M-badges, it's not an M-car, so why pose? It cheapens the look definitely.

Get tinted windows and some wheels.

Nice and clean but not feeling the ///M badges.
Needs the 19in wheels to set it off.

4GC is FAR from the greatest 4 door BMW - i hope u were kidding.

The badges are not fake, that's how all M-Sport line cars deliver in Germany, France, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Hong Kong, China, and dozens of other countries.

Tinted windows would prevent others from seeing the Coral Red interior, so not doing that. I may go 19's but so far I like the 18's where I live with poor road conditions.

Thanks, I do think the painted reflectors and side vents make it clean and simplify the fenders.

Not from a performance standpoint, but from a looks/design standpoint I don't think BMW has created a better 4-door car in its history.

So to those that want to remove the M badges from the sides, should he also remove the M badges from the wheels, steering wheel, dead pedal, etc?!
It's called an M Sport for a reason! No one is trying to pose as a 100% M car for crying out loud!

To the OP, keep up the good work!
