PS4S? if you're going to spend that kind of money than i can recommend better. what is your budget? and do you want summer or all-season?

i live in florida so we never get any type of snow and it doesn’t get below 50 degrees. so it doesn’t really matter. but i want to spend around 600-1000$ is around where i want to be.

i haven’t got my rims yet they’re supposed to come jan 9th. i think i’ve decided i want to go with 245/40/18 instead of 235/45/18 i thought about it but i don’t want the sidewall to look as beefy, i like how https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=30194708 looks but im just hoping the fitment will look good. i am getting coilovers and they will get installed after i receive my wheels and get tires for them but even though i have coilovers will there still be a big wheel gap? because its a xdrive and i cant lower it as much as a regular one but since i have the adjustability but im just thinking about the fitment i don’t want a massive gap or a massive sidewall on the tire.
basically asking if i will be able to lower it enough where there wont be a wheel gap

with 245/40/18 at x-drive lowest (38-40mm), there will still be a gap but however i feel it will look just about right. i believe it'll end up slightly lower than stock RWD gap. you may attempt to lower more than that but be cognizant of problems some have had with doing so...

decided to go with firehawk indy 500’s i’ve heard good reviews and some people say there comparable to the pilot sport 4s and a great bang for buck tire. there currently getting mounted and balanced now when there on i will post pictures but it’s gonna be a monster truck until i get my coilovers installed lol.

Maybe it's road surfaces and temperatures that do it but I've never found Yokohama or Toyo to even come close to the 'premium' brands in mixed weather (i.e cool/warm/wet, not winter). They've always been soft, quick wearing and glidey on wet/greasy roads.

reducing oem gap(especially xd), really enhances appearance.

tbh imo, your rear needs to come up a bit to even the gap and reduce some negative camber

yeah i agree with the rear it would match the fronts better too a little higher

Great looking wheels. Front drop looks perfect, definitely raise the rear. IMO setting the fender height to be the same looks best, although the rear being slightly lower is a more natural BMW look.

You might need to adjust your headlights depending on how much rake you put it. It's easy to do.

i appreciate all the feedback but only thing i’ve noticed since installing the wheels and coilovers is there is a slight creeking noise from the suspension some people say it’s part of the leveling process and some people say it’s normal to just creek when it’s cold out. i’m not completely sure it’s a lot different driving a lowered car is all i can say but im loving the setup.

Could be a number of things, is the noise from the front or rear? Are you lowered within the range specified for the coilovers? The rear looks particularly low, perhaps the spring coils are touching?

the creaking noise went away fortunately. i just have a question about dampening with the coilovers. originally they were set really stiff i lowered them all to 16 which is right in the mid point because there is 32 levels of the dampening.
the ride is definitely noticeably softer but i dont know if i should stiffen it a little bit due to how low i am in the rear i dont want to be bottoming out. i just dont have the correct tools and equipment to take my rear wheels off everytime i want to adjust the dampening in the rear i have to drive to my mechanic. should i stick with it like this i haven’t noticed any bottoming out but i would like it to be slightly stiffer would there be a negative to just stiffing the front? or
