I am not buying another 335 wrapped in a new shell.
seems like everyone is getting the HK sound is it really worth the $875?

435i M Sport
Fully loaded (except for the parking crap)
Need to finalize colors and tran. next week - but probably MG exterior with red interior and hexa trim. Probably 6MT...

M brakes can't be added on the configurator, but obviously an option - along with some other options not listed - namely the standard M accessories, kidney grills, cf trim and mirrors, etc.

It really depends on how loud you play your music, and how sensitive your are to ranges. If you are an audiophile, you'll be disappointed either way, but definitely go with the HK (or install an after-market unit). Otherwise, if you play normal volume levels, and can live without the 46th instrument Mike Oldfield has quietly in the background, spend the money elsewhere.

I got the HK - I'm a cheap audiophile

Ordering my 435i xDrive

Finalizing my order with the dealer tomorrow. Mine will be a 435i xDrive, Sport Line, Mineral Grey, 18” wheels, Dakota Coral Red leather interior with aluminum trim and black trim finishers, Premium Package, Technology Package, Dynamic Handling, Cold Weather, Driver Assistance, Parking Assistant, automatic Xenon headlights (no, not the LEDs at that price), power rear sunshade, and Harman Kardon surround sound to spoil myself. Been waiting a long time for this car. Just a few more weeks to go.

I didn't negotiate on individual prices, as I traded the 2007 on the deal, and was only interested in negotiating the Net Difference, which ended up at $44,000 CDN, or $41,600 US at today's rate.

In the CDN option world, it has all the available options and packages except for:

552 ActiveLED Headlights *naw.. Too new, Xenon's great, .. let someone else beta
5DF Active Cruise Control w/ Stop & Go *Don't care
ZTY ConnectedDrive Services *End of Production in Feb 2014 - old school

There are no "Lines" for the 435 in Canada.

I too would like to know if anyone has been able to get a discount. I am placing a deposit and would like to ask for an appropriate discount if it is possible.

Discount on the new 4 series. Current F30 usually get invoice + 500 + incentives but I'm wondering for the early buyers if they were getting any discounts.

Right now, as I was told for my order that they are on an allocation basis to the dealers, so you'll probably need to wait until they are old news or don't sell well out of the gate before you will get much for incentives.

Regardless, because this will be my 4th new BMW from the Dealer, I did get a generous difference number for the 335 trade. Whether you call that an apparent discount is a point of view. The other one I was looking at was a new Audi RS5 (2013) that the sister dealership just got in. The trade difference seemed less attractive there (accounting for the fact that the RS5 is more car), so I went with the 435, hoping it will step up as the V 2.0 continuation of my last E92 335 ride, which has been great ..

Hey Lost, regarding the "ZTY ConnectedDrive Services *End of Production in Feb 2014" do you know what the transition of this option is when the package goes EOP. I was wondering does it have to do with phase in of the new iDrive Touch? The Canadian pricing guide does not state that the nav comes with the touch controller currently. The US guide does. Do you know for sure your car will have it?

Thanks

No I don't.. I would guess that it probably shakes out much like it would for the US. We'll see.

Just ordered my 428i xdrive

MSRP: $49600
Dealer discount: $2300
Ultimate Driving Experience: $1000
Dealer Fee: $500
Net Price: $46800+tax

My dealer said that the production date is shown as week 36 in the sytem but now that we put in the order it will jump to week 33 or 34 in a few days. He said the car should be here (Colorado) around October 5th, which apparently is the day the 4 series officially goes on sale. He said if the car were to arrive before 10/5 they wouldn't be able to retail the car thus it would have to wait at the dealership until 10/5.
