I'm relieved I wasn't the only one who thought of that...

Looks so Audi-ish..., especially the rear

Thank God it's sexy! Even though I absolutely love the styling upgrades from my E92 to F30 I still miss the coupe. If the car looks this good in crap quality pics it's going to be gorgeous in RL.

Functional vent or not. It looks tacky. It should be integrated like a corvette cove or M3 vent.

Other things I don't like are the side skirt and body crease in the door. On the E9X these have a slight slope down to the front end giving a nice aggressive "raked" appearance. That's completely flat in the F32 albeit with a nice body crease nearing the rear fender and tails.

I love the trunk however ala S5. Great look overall and definitely excited to see the M. Wish it would have a tunes NA V8 though.

Would hate to be the F30 guys getting stuck with the sedan that looks absolutely borseville compared to this. Will look hot in the form of the M4

It looks pretty good! It seems like there is some carryover in the lines from the e92 but it looks like they did a great job on this model.

That side vent is killing it for me. Looks very tacky and add on ish. Kinda like the side vents people put on from Autozone or Pepboys. Hopefully the M4 will look better and if not the coupe is doomed. Stick with the sedan.

  1. what are those beautiful lines on the front bumper do?
  2. why rear looks like 3 series?
  3. why front looks like 3 series

This 4 series looks more 3 series than e92 vs. e90 which were both 3 series cars...

Anyway, I get that BMW wants it to look like that, it wants to charge some $$$ for the car, it needs to make profit, it doesn't care about what I like but cares more for some research that shows this type of design will sell. I am OK with that, it is just that I wont buy it. I am sure there are lots of guys looking for the sportier and meaner looks in a BMW and will potentially go to C or A or Cadi cars to get that...

that's all.
Thank you, agreed! This is 99% F30 with 2-doors, I think old A5/S5 still looks more exclusive, but M-sport probably will look nice as well.

Some of the curves have an Audi S5 feel to them...

Looks great but not very aggressive. BMW is playing safe with the designs.

Sounds to me as if lots of the E9X guys are experiencing shrinkage. Beautiful car, great work getting the spyshots up so fast.

That's what I thought as well. The side profile immediately reminded me of an A5/S5.

I like it, but...

This should have been the concept. The loss of the led fogs and hex lights was a big change and it's poorer for that loss. These fogs look pants in comparison.

Like others I can't help but think this is the result of an A5 sneaking in the factory one night and having its wicked way with an F30...

Look great! can't wait to see the M-Sport and M4 modified bodies.

The ONLY thing I dislike is the that fender vent, it looks really bad, like an aftermarket kit.
