If you are interested in making content with a car and what you do to the car you need to pick a car that there is the most interest in.

I would hazard a guess it would be the Supra. There are more of them and they cost less than the M340 from new thus used will cost less.

If I were 17 years old again and could select either the Supra, M340i, or the M440i I would definitely select the Supra. There are tons of companies that sell mods for the Supra, there is no issue about it being a DD and it is a very hot looking vehicle which definitely provides the fun factor!

One more thought, given you are looking at the Supra, would be either an M240i or M2.

Other than the Z4, they are really the BMWs that would be more comparable to the Supra and cars I personally would take over a M340i/M3/M4.

For someone the OP’s age I think it would definitely be the Supra.
