Cool. Be sure to run your stage 1 for a couple days before you run the test again. It takes a bit for the car to become accustomed to the extra boost.
You'll have to come out to a Test N Tune sometime with me. Maybe even next Thursday if the weather is good. My best time stock was 13.34, and my best w/ stage 1 was 13.28 (3.5 boost). I'll be going back again soon to A. Get more practice, and B. See if the additional half pound of boost helped out any.

Never heard of test n tune, but sounds like fun. Thanks for the offer, I think I'd be up for it. The mod bug just hit me but I'm trying to resist as best I can (already purchased stage 1 and have wheels and tires on the way in the next month or so). |

Also, I would've expected a bit more of a difference in your time with stage 1 and without. Any thoughts as to why they're so close? Looks like stock magazines got it around 13.3. Guess I was expecting 13 flat ish, maybe even dipping into 12's. |

$20, unlimited runs.
And I'm with you, I really expected 13.0-13.1. I'm not sure what was holding me back. I felt like I was getting off the line just fine. I'm eager to go back and try it again.

Had a great drive today, about 3 hours, on the autobahn. The Stage 1 definitely is a very noticeable pull all the way up to 150mph. Most drivers with more powerful cars are familiar with the 335 and the speed appears to cause quite a lot of surprise pulling away from folks who expect to keep up between traffic. I'm really impressed with the improvement it provides. The power curves are definitely not predictable, a little strange actually, but it makes an enormous difference on the autobahn. Good times!

It's just different I guess. I know in 1st from a 10mph roll I can smash the gas and get wheel spin but in 3rd or so at high RPMs it doesn't feel like it's pulling as hard up top as it does if you just get on it at 3k rpm. But of course the 'feel' of acceleration will always be relative to how fast you're going. |

stage one installed 2 weeks ago - decided to do a dyno test before going to the track this Sun for a full day of test and tune with my mustang and the wife running her new 335xi GT - baseline dyno on the 335 277whp 306 torque - stage one - 308whp 341 torque== average of 3 runs - damn good for less than 400 bucks - I will post time slips after Sun - but with good launch and 60ft times she should run in the high 12 sec range
-base line on the car stock was 13.45 at 104 mph done last Oct with only 500 miles on the car - that was run in sport with no pre-loading - it was faster using paddle shifters by 2/10 due to it shifting pass the power curve on its own. great times for a car with driver weighing over 4000 lbs. |
