I think I know the answer to this, but figured I'll pop it up anyway in case it actually is accurate. Here's the tracking from WW for my ED car:

My assumption is that the LINER RELEASE and CUSTOMS RELEASE have not actually occurred yet since they don't show a quantity of "1". Is this accurate? It just seems odd that they show a date already. Logic tells me this hasn't occurred yet, but...

Everything I've read about other folks' experiences are that once it shows the releases it actully IS released. On the other hand, I don't recall ever seeing the "Status Quantity" entry before either...

Mine never showed the 1's but I still got my car 2 days after the date on customs release.

Was it an ED? The thing that's odd is that it shows the Customs Release at midnight - before the ship even docked. I know this is common for non-ED, but I didn't think it was possible for ED.

I just found out from my CA that it's scheduled for processing through the VPC on the 31st pending customs and USDA clearances. I'm thinking the "Customs Release" on the WW site isn't accurate for ED cars.

You are right. It isn't 100%. I guess it just gives you a rough idea. This is what i had when I was tracking, but I actually took delivery before the date shown.
