The last pic is a joke, just wanted to see how they look on the family wagon...that nobody wants to drive anymore.

Nice setup. I have the exact same car on order and will be here the end of December. I'm looking to order a set of 18's w/Blizzaks before the car even gets here. How's the ride with the snows?

The ride is very nice. I got the non-run flat Blizzaks. I have found that highway driving with these tires is a bit wierd if your trying to downshift and pass somebody. Several times if I'm driving between 70-80mph in 6 gear, and down shift to 4 to accelerate pass somebody quickly, the traction control activates. This causing a reduction in power causing you to go NOWWHERE! You have to be in sport +, if you wanna down shift and accelerate hard past another car. I had the Blizzaks on my 2009 Mini S and the traction control never activated when doing the same. My theory, which means nothing is the soft rubber compound that Bridgestone uses with these tires and the tourqe causing what the car believes is wheel spin. These are great tires though in the snow, and since the forecast here in Syracuse is sunny for the next week, I put the summers back on a few hours ago...haha

I'm looking to put 225/45/18 winter tires on my M-sport 18s staggered (225/45 front and 255/45 rear, style 400).
Are there any issues putting 225/45 on the slightly wider rear wheels? Thanks for any info

No, I've done it like that on my e90 same sizes, only 17", just a slight more stretch in the rear.

Awesome, thanks much...wanted to make sure before I ordered the 225s from tirerack. Meant "wider wheels" in the rear but you got the gist...
