So far I have everything working again. Office showed up and the Bluetooth options showed. The sub functions of office didn't yet show up, such as SMS etc, but I'm going to see if it works next time I turn on the car. The Bluetooth options weren't there before so I think that's a good sign.

Yes. No problem. ENET is good for both.

I was able to fix it by clicking the root folder, right click ---> "Code". This reset the whole car (all modules) to default values based on my VO. Tested it out today, the lights turn as expected. Quote:

You don't need it though unless you are programming a car with 49.4 on it. |

Anyone know if you can code this?
- Change sensitivity of Auto-Headlights? I don't want the Xenon's to come on when it's still so bright outside on the Auto Setting. Would like for the DRL's to be on longer into dusk and have the Xenons turn on when its actually dark outside :P |

JBBF->3530 RLS, 0C->RLS_DEF_FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ-> unempfindlich (default is empfindlich) JBBF->3530 RLS, 0C->RLS_FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ unempfindlich (default is empfindlich) The "official" BMW way for both F10 and F30 to change the light control sensitivity is to use K-Words FLCN and FLCS: I have not tested them though, and the underlying FDL Changes may be the same JBBF codes above.

I don't get the unempfindlich (default is empfindlich), so thats also Sensitive or "insensitive", i'm assuming its already defaulted to insensitive, so I think I can only make it more sensitive then what it already is... Last edited by kromix; 05-31-2013 at 12:40 PM.. |

Well, if you choose to assume that the underlying coding default is for Normal operation, then I guess not. Myself, I assume nothing about these cars when it comes to coding, and I test everything to prove it out. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

For me (F30 with I-step F020-12-11-504) the default is "normal". They may have changed the default in other I-steps. The other options are: empfindlich (sensitive) sehr_empfindlich (very sensitive) unempfindlich (insensitive) Tagfahrlicht (DRL) Last edited by Frogman; 05-31-2013 at 01:41 PM.. |

As for the BMW way, by default a VO contains no K-Word for sensitivity, so until one actually tests K-Words FLCN and FLCS, there is no way of definitively knowing if using these set the same JBBF / FEM_BODY FDL Codes, and if so, which K-Word equates to which FDL Code.

Yes, just replace two patched .jar files, and then in E-Sys options, change the EST location to point to your new .EST Token file.

Right now, your lights are coming on when it is still too light out, so your sensors are too sensitive, so you would set it to "insensitive" to decrease the sensitivity.

Hey guys, anyone have any idea on this or atleast where to look to test?
From a locked turned off car state, When on Setting #3 (Auto Headlamp control), and I unlock my car the "Angel Eyes" or "Corona Rings" illuminate & stay on and the turn signal indicators flash. When on Setting #4 (Lamps Off/DRL) and I unlock my car the "Angel Eyes" or "Corona Rings" do not illuminate & stay on, but only the turn signal indicators flash. Is there a way via coding to enable the illumination of the "Corona Rings" on Car Unlock when in Setting 4? I'm guessing I'd have to find an area that has to do with the individual lamp settings 3/4/5/6, just not sure where to look? Last edited by kromix; 06-03-2013 at 06:57 PM.. |
