Can anyone confirm Estoril could look like the F30 LCI posted above? It seems to have no brilliance or metallic effect at all.
Holy hell just ignore that picture, its a spy pic taken on a cloudy, cold looking day from what is probably not a great camera. Just get the car and be happy

Show me one car whose paint looks "brilliant' when its A) cloudy and B) also filthy.

Yeah you are right. But I am also in love with the mineral grey. I don't want my car to ever look as bleak as on those spy shots.

If you guys tell me it's not going to happen, I will drop the women whining and get the blue

As mentioned by the previous poster, don't get hung up on that one spy picture. It was probably taken on a cloudy day, with a crappy cameraphone, with the white balance all out of whack. My car has never looked that bland. I've had my Estoril Blue F30 335i for 2 1/2 years and even when it's filthy it still looks good. I've gotten to lots of compliments from random people on how great the color is and I'm not good about keeping it sparkling clean all the time. I also went back and forth between Estoril and Mineral Grey when I ordered my car and I'm so happy I chose Estoril.

No I don't think it ever looks that dull, like the poster above and I said earlier its a spy shot on a crappy day and prob with a crappy camera too.

I don't think mine has ever looked that dull even when its dirty.

The funny thing about "reflective" and metallic paint....it has to have LIGHT to reflect. Metallic paint sparkles because of the way the flake throws the light, with no light, there's no reflective and it appears flat.

Just the way physics works.

Estoril is by far one of the most gorgeous colors on these cars, I would not shy away from it just because when it's dirty or poor weather it doesn't look the same. Clean it often or move somewhere where the sun always shines. Isn't it always sunny in Philly?

I live in Germany. The weather here is mostly sad. We have a few good summer months, but it's mostly cloudy, grey, and often rainy. So I need a color that even looks good under those conditions.

Any voices PRO the mineral gray?
