This is what the pipe should look like, it did on my E90 and it does now as well. As you can see its a 335i on the pic, but the pipes are the same.

Do you guys think the F30 335i M performance exhaust can fit the F30 328i? Have any of you tried this?

As long as the tubing that connects to the muffler is the same size of a 335i and you have a diffuser for it I see no reason why it wouldn’t. I haven't checked out a 328i muffler but the only other snag you may run into is the hanger locations.

I may be removing my stock 335i exhaust to put on the M Performance on my 335i soon if someone wants to buy the stock exhaust off me cheap

Has anyone else got this exhaust? I understand that the f30 is new but there is so little info about the m exhaust. Meaning there aren't many that installed it. For the bmw performance exhaust on the e90 is such a hot commodity that you'll pay a good sum even for a used one.

The exhaust on the e90 came with extended pipes that removed the resonator, for the f30 it is just the muffler but does it have a resonator? If not then it is not that much different from the e90 exhaust in terms axle back.

M performance exhaust is perfect for anyone looking to add more growl at rpms greater than 2k, yet still looking to be discreet at anything less. It's definitely a big difference compared to stock. I have some sound clips, but haven't been able to upload them. They sound in line with what has already been posted elsewhere.

As for performance gains, not noticeable but there probably is some up to 5whp

Any new vids would be appreciated since there aren't many out there anyways. It seems that this f30 performance exhaust is not in high demand compared to the e90 performance exhaust.

I was told that the sound is very comparable to the e90 perf exhaust but I have my doubts since a 4 banger will never sound like a smooth 6.

I love my m performance exhaust! It's kind of in the quiet sound but sound really good imo. has a good pop and burble when downshifting and upshifting.

I'll have another one up in a few weeks once I have some more km's on it. I'll get a link up when it's done.

I don't care about demand for other people, it's what I wanted. Of course it's not going to sound like a naturally aspirated 6cyl...

Can't overstate how disappointed I am with BMW performance pieces, and / or lack there of. They promote them in mags, car shows and on their website, but hell if you can get them, and when you can, they're overpriced and under engineered. I like my car, and even my dealer is a good sort, but don't exactly feel warm and fuzzy about the BMW corporation.
