Tell Me What You Think..Please

Ok. I just ordered these winter wheels and paid extra for brushed aluminum and I love them but cant help but wish I would have went gloss black. What are your thoughts, should I powder coat them? Currently they are forged wheels with brushed aluminum finish.

I would really appreciate any feed back. I am a little OCD and second guess stuff....thanks again

These look fantastic as is. I love the contrast of this rims finish on mineral grey. I own an mg f30 myself and am keeping both my 400m and 403m rims the same colour.

The contrast lets the rims stand out as it's meant to by design.

Ugh. Black wheels are so played out. They look like steelies. Stick with a silver look. Contrast is nice on MG. Time to lower it.

i like the brushed as it keeps the car classy looking without it looking like a tuner car. you need painted reflectors for sure though!

Looks great!

I got matte black rims for my winter set - I now wish I had gotten a lighter colour because it's usually so gloomy in winter that it's so difficult to see the nice shape of the wheels.

Black wheels are so 2005. Plus, I hate them cuz it looks like a hooptie that lost its hubcaps. The final phase of the fad is manufacturers doing it. The rims looks fantastic.

Keep the brushed for looks, but they're a b!tch to keep clean in the winter and can corrode when it comes into contact with salt.

I hear ya. I have layers of clear coat on them and they are ceramic coated. Nothing sticks to them. Haha

Case in point. Had this happen before and they weren't the same ever since.

You can not go wrong with brushed aluminum. I have had my wheels ceramic coated though. A must!

Gloss Black or Matte Black would look much better. My opinion though.

Black wheels fit the MG color pretty well in my opinion, especially if you have some tints and other m performance parts in black.

Keep the brushed look man. Like others have said I think black is played out and hides almost all the details of those wheels that you probably spent alot on. They look amazing as is.

Tough one, both will look really good.
I would keep them on a sedan and go with black on a coupe

Either way, you need to paint your reflectors
