If not, seem the S001 is going to be the one you want.

OK, thanks.
ede92mentioned your it being good news for 328i and the only diff between 335 and 328 you listed was that the 328i manual was Getrag while 335i manual was ZF. So, I thought Getrag MT must be better that ZF MT.

The term "3rd Generation" comes from Bridgestone.
Its Bridgestones 3rd Generation of RFT

The Generation names of other makes may not be directly comparable
(for example Pirellis 2nd Generation may be similar to Bridgestones 3rd Generation)

I have not seen tests comparing the new models from each manufacturer yet

The S001 has so far mostly been seen on the M Sport models.
This may just be due to current production backlog at Bridgestone.

Wheel offset

E90Fleet (or others)...can you please confirm the front/rear offsets and if the E90 wheels will work? I've got a 335 ordered with the 19" 401's but will happily change to 18's if I can have a really nice Fikse ready to mount.

17"
Pirelli CintuRatu P7 RSC (225/50/17 and 255/45/17)
Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT (225/50/17 and 255/45/17)
Ahh thats what I was worried about.

I hope they are going to release the s001 in 255/40/17 for all of us e90 ZSP owners that had OEM RE050A RFTs! Come on BMW and Bridgestone, you owe us RFT Guinea pigs. We have been beta testing your 2nd gen RFTs since 2006.

320d only listed for non-US markets at the moment
Thats too bad. The 320d would do great here. Decent enough power and torque, great gas mileage, and a low enough price point.

.
Do you have the RE050A I or RE050A II ?
The II version was usually on the pre-LCI versions and was harsher than the later I version that came on the LCI
(Yes, II came before I)

The USA summer tires are all Y rated (up to 186 mph)

Some EU ones are W rated

Is this confirmed? The 18" sport line wheels are summer only?

Does anyone know if the 18" sport line wheels come with summer or all season tires?

The Modern and Luxury lines come with all-season tires. The Sport line comes with "performance tires" with the corresponding footnote "Performance tires are not recommended for driving in ice and snow conditions", so would assume they are summer tires?
