Surely that's supposed to happen isn't it??? Why would you want to have 'auto start stop' in sport mode?

Before the update ASS would activate in all modes unless I switched it off manually now it is only operational on Eco Pro or Normal modes.

Good

This wasn't when you selected M/S on the auto box?

Mine does this so must be programmed as part of the 2014 updates.

On a side note... does anyone know if selecting M/S on the auto has the same effect as programming sport in the drivetrain for sport mode in the idrive settings? Seems to be a halfway house, but not sure.

M/S gives much quicker gear changes especially when using the paddles.

but does it sharpen throttle response in the same way? I wish that sport mode would still allow selection of 8th gear so it could be used as a normal driving mode.

Can you code the car to remember the last selected mode?

I don't think so and the steering doesn't get heavier as it does in sport mode. It annoys me too it won't go into 8th, I'd use sport more if it did.

Were you still able to use your existing version of Esys (presumably 3.22.5)?

This is the third update I have had since I have had the car and I have had to recode after each one.
