Rust proof. I can't sleep now

Hi guys
Recently i did some mod and adjusted front end. I saw repair shop guy released screws to adjust headlight and metal bar behind bumper. I saw paint damage to metal.

I worry that the paint around the bolts, holes and areas around them might be chipped, and cause rust.

Should I do rust protection spay or paint? Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

If it's in an area that you can't see (like behind a bumper), get a can of under-body spray and go crazy.

My car has been through 2+ years of Ohio and Michigan salty winters. The only "rust" I've seen while working on my car is the break rotors and calipers. I can't find surface rust anywhere else as of yet. There are a ton of BMW's in my town, mainly E46's and e90's. I've seen some light rust on the E46's rear fenders, but no where else. Never seen a rusted e90.

I have faith that with each generation, they become more and more rust proof, so I've decided not to get any aftermarket sprays or coatings performed.

What I have found on surfaces that are hard to reach is traces of cosmoline grease, which is a military spec rust preventative. They're built to last.

Most or all of that metal is aluminum, so don't sweat it.
