Finally ordered for July 30th delivery!

The 'tenth' digit of my vin is now 'F' (the letter before the plant code 'J' for Regensburg) whereas it was 'E' on the previous VIN. From what I gather from the 'Ultimate Guide to Tracking Delivery' this would indicate that it would be a 2015.

There is a huge gap in the lease rates between MY2014 and 2015. I wonder how the dealership/ BMWNA will deal with this difference?

I hope I won't get screwed - I specifically ordered a 2014 for delivery before the rates change (End of July, I'm told) for the lower interest rate.

Three more sleepless nights and I'll have my answer, I guess.

I hope you find out soon! You have an order sheet that is a binding agreement, hopefully they will honor it...

Jimmers, we have similar timeframes, I ordered mine late May for a 14 328i xdrive + sport line from Autohaus. picked mine up on saturday. There is a promotion right now 0.9% + 1,000 delivery credit for the 328 so make sure they reflect this on your deal. At time of order the only promo was the 1.9% over 5 years, but the July promo has been better offering 0.9% + 1,000 cash adjustment.

Which ship were you on? My car was in the Independence II and it arrived in port beginning of July. I just took delivery yesterday. So basically like 20 something days for it to go from the port to dealer in the GTA area.

The car was on TORRENS and it arrived 21/7/14 . It has a "delivered from" date of 24/7/14, whatever that means.

I sent a text to my SA and he said "Jim we are protected until end of September," and there is no need to "paper sign" the deal before the end of the month(July 30th is stated on my contract), which makes me more anxious.

Even though it is a two hour drive to the dealership, I think I will pay them a visit tomorrow.

You are protected until Sept 30th on a 2015. 2014 3 Series are only protected until July 31st.

On the positive there were some 2014s that ended up being built in July. If you give me the VIN I can tell you exactly if it is a 15' or 14'...

Mine is awesome!! already driven it 700km on a road trip to see some family, I've yet to fuel it up (it's a diesel)

I loved my E91 but now I love my F31 even more!! The only minor thing missing is the high beam assistant.. not sure how that not get included considering I got every single other assist on the car ..

Now all that's left for me to do is to black the grills, the satin rails and tint the windows.

How's your experience so far?

An experience I'll never forget. 2012 was the best summer of my life, LOL.

Things at the dealership turned out well. Other than the dealer installing the front license plate, things went without a hitch.

Thanks to the Autohaus staff who honoured the terms of my deal; ordered as a 2014 and delivered as a 2015 model. Good show.

Thanks to everyone who posted...it was a long 3 month wait, but worth it in the end!
