Lack of storage compartments in F30

compared to my 2010 E92. Anyone come up with any cool self designed compartments for wallet, glasses, keys etc. I figure they'd have to not allow whatever to slide around causing noise. My coffee cup holders are usually used for what they were designed for. Leaves only glove box, small centre console, and plastic door compartments. Thanks, Hniel/Ont. 2013 335 M sport.

Do you have the driver assistance package? Otherwise, left of the steering wheel, there is a compartment.

Yea, I use that one for my sunglasses. Unbelievable they don't have an overhead spot for them!

The space in front of the drinks holes house my garage remote & house keys.
Wallet in boot (trunk) or in my wife's bag when we travel together, sunglasses in centre console and M cap in driver's side compartment.

I don't drink (any type - water, coffee, tea, sodas) in my car so the drink space houses the car's key fob.

Still leave the very deep (compered to my E90) compartment under the lights switches if I wanted to stick the wallet in there instead of the boot.

Pretty much the same as my E90.

The OP is in Canada, and BMW Canada, in their infinite wisdom , has decided that no Canadian should have the storage compartment below the headlight switches, drivers assistance pkg or not. In fact the whole storage package, which includes the drivers storage compartment, the seat back cargo nets, and the trunk cargo net, are not available in Canada. Not sure why they feel this way.

Probably for the same reason why headlight washers are not available in Canada. Not standard and not an option. Cannot be had.

I would like to suggest every Canadian write a friendly letter to BMW Canada asking why we do not get these features, even the choice to choose them as an option. I like my BMW car, but have different feelings for the management at BMW Canada.

Also I like the two that are hidden in the trunk where the spare tire should be. Not a place to put your wallet but great to hide cleaning supplies.
