I have 2013 328i and recently when I cold start my car sometimes I get a weird like clunking noise right as the car starts. It comes from under the car about half way to the trunk. It sounds like the something is seized up and then breaks loose. When I'm driving the car everything seems absolutely fine and I don't get a check engine light or warning on the iDrive. It's only happened once on a warm start after the car was turned off for about 3 hours.
Anyone experiencing the same or know what it could possibly be? |

Your car should not be making any kind of clunking noise at cold start-up. Halfway to the trunk could be transmission. Get this checked out asap since you will not get any warning lights or indication that your transmission is in trouble until it's too late.
