I would LOVE to race in that thing

Why not add the black grilles? I would do it ASAP.

Also, that tiny gear lever looks very uncomfortable. Any feedback on how it actually feels?

After digging a bit, its stock motor (n55) with a "restricted" turbo inlet (to comply to SA Production Car regulations). Using the MoTeC M1 engine management system it actually pushes 408hp...! Pretty amazing!

It cost a lot to remove the BMW Assist.
But seriously, the cost is for at least 2 cars. And look at all the carbon fiber! That's custom fabrication there. Not your bodyshop down the street.

i saw this posted on another thread, it looks like this car is running a turbo swap. the first video shows what appears to be an external wastegate (tial, blue). there's also modified piping running from the turbo to the intercooler.

Well production car racing has come a long way in SA. Struggle to call this production car racing. Back in the day when the E30 325i's were racing against Opel Kadett GSI Superbosses and Golf GTI 16valves it meant little more than a roll cage and sticky rubber!

But those are dynojet figures, i.e. inflated.

At only 0.7 bar these South African guys are doing an amazing job.

I agree... I would like to see their Dyno compared to a stock F30 on the same dyno.

The price is crazy. I could get a BMW M3 GTS for less than that and much more fan to drive. Not my type of race cars... sorry.
