Hello all,

I've ordered my first BMW, a 328d x-drive m-sport wagon. Put my deposit down and had requested Mineral grey with Coral red, the next day our CA that red wasn't available with m-sport anymore. I've only read 1 other thread saying that CR wasn't available with this particular configuration, my question is, should I be concerned that the car will go into production and I can't change from black( he said black was okay and I begrudgingly said it was ok) to red? How long till after the order is placed will it go into production? I really like my CA so I do not want to go to another dealer, but I know this is the color I want. Any suggestions are appreciated.

My 328d MSport Mineral Grey/Coral Red was built last week and I haven't seen anything saying things have changed since then ( unless it's wagon specific for some reason)...it's a beautiful combo and I hope it works out for you.

As for production date I think your CA should know assuming you have a production number so that could vary widely.
