Akrapovic features its F30 335i Evolution Exhaust system in this feature video.

The Evolution Exhaust System is cat-back and constructed from austenitic stainless steel, with two central link pipes, new muffler design, and carbon fiber tail pipes.

The exhaust features dual-mode ECU-controlled valves which allows for stock-level sound at normal cruising, but a deeper/louder note during sportier driving.

This thing sounds amazing. Pricey, but might be worth it.

Mine will be on tomorrow! No really - I've been waiting for over a month and it is finally here! The car in the video is Estoril Blue just like mine! I can hardly wait.

And no - I won't be posting a video like this one - it is really well done! Has me salivating and my pulse pounding.

I guess I need a life.

eh, i am usually blown away by their products, but i was expecting more for the price.

Well, I finally got to be the first adopter of something. My dealer called as they had a cancellation so they installed the exhaust. Can't say much more than what the video does. It does sound like that - just a beautiful pop on the upshifts. At normal speeds - that is - 2000 - 2500 rpm - a nice low growl. There is no drone.

The car with the MPPK has some real performance - now it sounds the part as well.

Is it worth the money? Depends on your point of view. Exhaust systems aren't going to give a big performance gain. This one sounds great, looks good, and it is nice to know that it is of the highest quality. Price in Cdn dollars installed was $3,940 including taxes. I am very pleased with my purchase and if the price isn't a stumbling point, I have no hesitation in giving it a whole hearted recommendation.
