Mapezzul is correct, however, Steve was referring to the minimum required fuel which is 89 octane. It's indicated on the inside of the gas tank door.

BMW recommends 91 and above top tier fuel bc of the detergent properties and the engine is optimized for combustion with that octane level. Fuel economy will suffer a bit as will the output.... all to save maybe $100 a year, no thanks I will go get the good stuff.

I too liked his video ... if you have the link(s) to others ... even the older once perhaps you could post the links? That would be great.

Love the intro... I've wanted an e90 ever since the 335i arrived in 2007 and I almost leased an e90 M3 at Christmas 2008, but I just can't give up my e46, love her too much, rolled 111,000 miles Sunday while doing triple digits back from Nashville...

That is very gracious, thank you. Unfortuntely I can't send you a PM until you have 5 or more posts, but I certainly appreciate the offer. It's possible that my situation has been unique, but if there is a remedy it would surely be pleasing!

I love all of the Rosenthal videos- they're well put together, pretty funny, and feature stunning camera work... Except I would never really call any of their videos a review at all. All the videos at most are walkthroughs of the cars they're trying to sell

Hope you get this figured out. I bought my e90 from Duane there and he was excellent. And my service advisor (was Kevin now Ben) have always been great!

As for the review - I really enjoyed it. The cinematography is pretty remarkable if you consider it's a local dealer. And man the car looks -- and sounds -- great!

the e46 330i is a badass machine. It was my first car and loved it sooo much. Has yours been reliable to 111k? keep enjoying it.

Why would I confuse adaptive headlights and cornering lights? Adaptive lights are just the xenons swiveling left or right depending on your speed and steering angle. The cornering light just comes on when you make a slow turn, when signaling at low speeds or stopped, and when Reverse gear is activated.

On the 335i Coupe I used to own, the inner corona ring would illuminate if I had a signal on and at a stop. In the X5 and this car, the corresponding fog light will. If you look behind the headlight housing, there's not even a bulb behind the center corona. The inner rings simply do not have bulbs.

I recognized the GW Parkway in the middle of the video. Was that Georgetown Pike in the earlier part of the video?

That was awesome. My car exact color and interior except I have the matte red line across the dash. I signed those papers and never looked back. I love the F30, I cant get enough of driving or looking at it.
