BMW Illuminated door sills

Got them today, impressed they came with wooden tool to remove old sill plate and a display box that shows you what they look like lit up. Will be installing tomorrow.

They're battery operated, no wiring needed

I was going to install today.. but then I realized I had my pajamas on and it is -12 degrees out.. I may attempt later after a few warm alcoholic drinks.

Here is a pic of the instructions. Essentially there is a magnet you need to place and that is what triggers it on/off.

Is the battery accessible after you have installed it? Or do you need to pry it up and replace from bottom...
