Agreed. It really ruined it to me. Other than that it does look nice.

Thanks Guys!Anthracite looks amazing! But I have Black leather seats with red highlights. Not sure if Anthracite wood trim goes with the black interior.

Anyways my car is on Courage, which docked a minutes back at Baltimore, MD, I should be getting my car in a week now.

and yeah, I will be posting the pictures of my car as soon as it arrives.

I ordered my Modern Line in all oyster with the anthracite wood trim. I was worried that the dark pearl trim might look too "plasticy" and the grooved light wood was just too weird for me.

I would really love to see a pic of someone who has the same combo, just in case, cause I've still got 3 weeks to change my mind

I am taking delivery soon and I got the brushed aluminum but when I wanted to switch to the wood it was too late LOL. I wonder how hard it would be to switch?

Looking at these forums and seeing how many people want to trade/switch/sell theirs I don't believe it to be too hard.

My all Black exterior/interior 2013 335i M Sport came with the Aluminum Hexagon interior trim with high-gloss black accent and looks stunning in my opinion. I am not sure how scratch resistant that the Aluminium Hexagon is as I have only had it less than a week. I also own a 2005'Infiniti G35 with non-hexagon Aluminium trim which is somewhat sensitive to scratches.

My BMW dealer told me that the Hexagon trim on the M Sport is much less sensitive to scratches than that of the Infiniti. We shall see.

Yeah, that's what i meant as well. Too many people are doing it on their own for it to be hard.

There is a good thread with pics in the DIY section showing the replacement and install of the M-Performance carbon fiber set.

Sport Line with Everest Grey + Anthracite Wood Trim

I saw this combo in a car on the lot before I ordered...loved it. Was leaning towards brushed aluminum, but with the Grey leather it was a bit monochromatic. The anthracite wood works beautifully with the Grey and Black ...looks very nice. Will post pics when it finally arrives next week (I hope.)

So my Question to you guys:
Is it possible to change the trim to Brushed Aluminum after my car gets delivered?

In your opionion which trim goes well with Black leather seats and red highlight?

I have not seen both (Brushed Aluminum/ Anthracite wood trim) of these in person but saw them only in pictures in config manager online on BMW website.
the M Performance inlays are pretty nice (CF)...i like the Dark Burl Walnut personally though, adds a bit of class to the interior.

Agreed. I also went with the anthracite with everest grey. To me it looks great and is a nice contrast with the grey leather and black dash.

Took delivery today

Took delivery this evening of my 2013 Imperial Blue with Anthracite Wood trim...looks amazing. It's pouring rain here - not ideal for taking flattering pics, but as soon as sky's clear up...I'll post some photos. Definitely endorse the combo...the right call for sure.
