The Last Jedi...

Just booked my tickets for Thursday!

Doesn't seem to be anywhere near the level of hype and hysteria compared to a couple of years ago though.

Anybody else going to see it asap?

Going Friday night. Just watched The Force Awakens again to get up to speed. Didn't go as planned though. Watched it with my 5 year old son who loves Star Wars......but today decided to press pause and piss about doing something else every ten minutes.

Just watched the extended trailer... I reckon it's going to be great!

Hopefully the storyline will be completely original this time.

Let's hope so. The Force Awakens was an exact rehash of A New Hope. I came away very disappointed.

If it's as good as Rogue One I'm happy.

My local cinema are back to backing The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi from 9pm on Wednesday. I'm trying to decide whether 2.5 hours of sleep is enough the night before the Christmas bash...

This is my feeling too. Yet I fear the conversation will go like this:

Present-me: "2 and a half hours is plenty"
Wednesday night-me: "definitely plenty"
Thursday morning-me: "Was definitely plenty and the film was <insert awesome/naff>"
Thursday night-me: "Past-me is dick"

Either way I'm probably booking tickets now..

So do generally speaking, but the force awakens is the best film I've seen in 3D, so hopefully that augers well for this one.

I too watched the last one in 3D but for me I just cant get into the film because i'm always waiting for some kind of dramatic 3D effect to happen which distracts me from the storyline, he's paying anyway

Avatar was the only film that was worth it in 3D. The rest have been pants and I refuse to see any film in 3D now. Just a marketing gimmick if you ask me.

Totally agree 1000000% Avatar is still the best 3D film ever!

I'm going on a Force India F1 factory tour on Friday morning and later on watching Star Wars I'd be surprised if I didn't let out a small sexwee at some point

Got Friday off so booked myself in for an early afternoon showing in Glasgow. Been busy with work and other things over the past couple of months so have not been caught up in the hype that was Force Awakens or Rogue One.
I liked both TFA and RO and can't wait to see Last Jedi.
