Nikon 24-65mm f/2.0G?

What kind of lens is this? I've looked everywhere including Ken Rockwell, and I can't seem to find any info about this "new" lens.

Apparently this guy has one and is selling it:

No pics of the actual lens...

Sounds a little like BS. Actually, sounds like a lot of BS. I even went to Nikon's Japanese website, and I see no such lens listed there.

Might be interesting to get a picture of the actual lens....

At first I thought it was a typo, like he probably meant 24-85mm f/2.8-4.0, but those are completely different numbers and $1800 is a ton of money for that kind of lens.

The weird thing is that it's on Craigslist, which usually means you're supposed to meet with the owner to see the item, otherwise it's almost always a scam.

What if I asked to test out the lens first?

Thanks. Yeah, that is pretty "hard core cRaZyy"

And considering that I don't speak or read Japanese, it was pretty tough!
