I have one that say's "Powered by ///M" and I also have an "///M" marquee plate that I used on my M3's (..that latter is up for sale). Rock that plate frame.

Given that there are already about a dozen M emblems on your M-sport - why not put one on the license plate. BMW plays lose on the M emblems - I wouldn't feel guilty! It doesn't say M3 - that would be wrong. Only BMW people care and they know the models anyway. The rest of the world doesn't know one BMW from another and could care less. Your car - do what makes you feel good.

Are you going to put it on the front plate so that your decal isn't obscured on the rear.

I was thinking of placing it on the rear since I didn't plan on putting a plate on the front. What do you mean by "obscure"?
