Love the Merino Opal White but can't imagine how difficult it would be to keep clean for a daily driver.

Love the colors and materials of the Individual program, and how they give the quality level a much-needed boost, but really, the price can get out of hand. Do I have this right?

Individual paint: $5,500
Individual leather: $5,500
Individual trim: ?
Individual steering wheel: ?
Individual wheels: ?

Doesn't make much sense on a $45,000 car.

Opal would look so good on Estoril...
But besides the price it is impossible to keep clean, I have witnessed it myself on a 6 Series we got.

BMW Individual always has me sold on things like the fine-grain merino leather in gold brown... just looks stunning... as does the opal white leather... but I'm confused by the trend for 50 shades of brown exterior colours in the car industry... too many cars come with such colour options and too many people are buying it LOL

@PAMidge - yeah first thing I thought was "I don't want to be looking at that badge"

Exactly.

Lovely, and it really is lovely but a complete waste of money in my view. It doesn't add a lot of residual value but nice if you can afford it. Given my finite budget I would probably put the money towards something like a better engine etc

to each their own.

living with a car for 4-8 years, it's a treat to get into every time if you like the look and feel. it's a huge part of the car experience.

if not, we'd all buy A->B transportation or take public transit as a cost savings.

modifying a car is also a waste of money, especially appearance mods. We do it because it individualizes your car and makes it unique/special.

Does anyone know the full Individual colors that will be available for the F32?

Will Tanzanite blue be available?

New?

I don't see why BMW calls this a "new individual program" for 2014. It looks like the same individual program that has long been available for the F30, at least in Europe.

Looks exactly like what you see for the 3 series on www.bmw.co.uk.

Yea I wear a lot of blue jeans, I think that would be a bad choice in color.

Also...this ad must be going to the baby boomers looking to get an expensive car before they die. Brown and less sport shit.

I wish they would have added power to the cars with the release of the coupe like when the E92 dropped. Now they just add pieces of cow and trees.

These are the interiors the car should have to begin with. The cost to BMW for a full leather individual interior is probably less than $500 over a standard interior. It is very likely their highest margin option.
