F82 Carbon Fiber Driveshaft Installed on F32 440

After breaking my driveshaft last weekend, i decided to install an F8x carbon fiber driveshaft that i had laying around into my F32 440. I couldn’t find anyone who had done this before so i decided to give it a try and to my surprise it worked out. All i had to do was swap the flex disc from the 440 driveshaft to the f80 one. Even though i didn’t modify anything i highly recommend anyone else doing this to have a driveshaft shop swap over the 440 yolk as it is smaller and at the same time they can extend the driveshaft by one inch since it is shorter than the 440 one. 1504 MM 440 VS 1477 MM M4
On the differential side I’d recommend to shave down the lip before the threads on the driveshaft so that it can sit further into the differential. See pictures below. Side note: the e brake cables do rub against the driveshaft on hard accelerations, i will be taking these out temporarily while i wait for my DSP Upgraded Driveshaft to come in.
