Receive $300 Discount on 2013 3 Series with BMW Ultimate Drive Mobile App

For the past few weeks, BMW has been offering a $300 discount on the 2012 3 Series for scheduling a test drive through the app, but they've now expanded the promotion to include all BMW models.

The discounts are as follows:

$300 Off 3 Series, 1 Series, X1, X3 and Z4 (all trims, including M models)
$500 Off 5 Series, 5 Series Gran Turismo and X5 (all trims, including M models)
$700 Off 7 Series, 6 Series, 6 Series Gran Coupe and X6 (all trims, including M models)

What you will receive is a voucher in the amounts listed above off the first payment on a new 2012 or 2013 BMW financed or leased through BMW Financial Services.

To receive your discount:

Step 1: Download The Ultimate Drive app (available on iPhone and Android).
Step 2: Use the app to schedule a test drive at your local BMW dealer.
Step 3: Confirm your test drive via the app to generate your voucher code and use it when ordering your new 2012/2013 BMW.

* This promotion ends July 31, 2012 and is available only to existing BMW Financial Services customers in the U.S.

Someone of you may have already taken advantage of BMW's offer to get $300 towards your first payment for your new BMW.
If you haven't, take a look with your smart phone and download the
BMW Ultimate Drive app. It's available for Android and Apple phones.

You download the app, sign up for a test drive, then you can submit your SA/CA's name to receive your voucher code.
The code is good for $300 towards your first payment for lease or loan purchase. I believe you have to use BMWFS for your loan to get the $300.

The particular thing to note is:
“To redeem the voucher, customer must purchase, lease or order a new 2012 or 2013 BMW within the offer period and give the voucher code to the dealer.”

There is a time frame start to end. The offer ends next Tuesday 7/31/2012. You have to have purchased or ordered a new 3 series between the dates to use the code.
My dealer tells me that since I ordered within the time frame that I should get the $300. It will apply once I get my new 335i, and the paperwork with the code is given to BMWFS.

The offer has different amounts based on the series you get.
3's get $300, 5's get like $500, and 7's get $700, or something like that.
I know it's $300 for our 3's.

Give it a shot. It only takes a few minutes and it's worth $300.

When did they change it to allow 2013 vehicles? I didn't do this because at the time it said only 2012 vehicles allowed.

I tried to take advantage of this, turns out its not for NEW BMW owners. Only if you have an account already with BMW financial can you use this.

When I first heard about it it didn't include 2013 cars.
I don't know when they changed it but take it if you can get it.

I guess this is as close to a "customer loyalty" as we're likely to get for of us who are current owners, AND lease or loan through BMWFS.
Current owners with private banks get slighted on this, OUCH!

Does anyone know if this incentive can be combined with the $1000 incentive test drive for team USA event? They are both test drive events so I don't know if one would be allowed to combine the 2.

My CA/SA said it should be no problem.
The Drive event is $1000 from BMW, manufacturer to customer incentive.
The Ultimate drive is $300 towards the first monthly payment of a new 3, financing to customer incentives.

Now, there is the $750 loyalty cash. I think that is also finance/BMWFS to customer incentive.

The $1000 and $750 will get applied to the loan/lease. I'm not sure how the $300 will get applied, and if it will get taxed as many rebates do.

But, all 3 of those should be able to be used together, as I haven't read any restriction on not allowing them to be combined.

So if u ordered a car before July 31st, but the car is delivered august or early september, you'll still get the 300 toward the first payment?

I was told the car had to be delivered by the 31st from the dealership

Only needs to be ordered by then.

If you're dealer told you that, then ask him/her to look again.

What if you had a loan with BMW but it's long paid off?

I was actually told the car had to be delivered by July 31st also. My CA mentioned something about how the voucher code needed to be entered in the e-contract which is done at time of delivery and not order (since I am having my car built).

The good news is it looks like this offer is being extended until September 30th now!

Thanks for the info. If this is extended to the 30th, then it doesn't matter that it has to be delivered by the expiration date. That's cuz I'm getting my new baby early September.

sent the request through the app, still no response from dealer. . I did place an order for this car on Friday, and found out about this on Saturday..will i be eligible still?

You should still be eligible if all you did was place the order at this point. My CA explained to me that once you receive the electronic voucher code (which appears in the app itself) it gets entered at the time the e-contract is signed which is done when taking delivery. I would be proactive and call your CA and ask if you can come in and take the test drive so you could fill out the information required in the app and get this code sooner than later.
