PCD & license plate holes

I have asked my CA not to put holes in the front bumper. He said that the port doesnt put holes in but he doesnt know about the performance center.

Anyone have experience with PCD and making sure they dont drill?

The performance center did not when I had a 2014 delivery. Just ask the CA to make notes in the delivery not to do that which may help reassure you too

Just tell you CA that you do not want the front license plate bracket installed.
Never done PCD but my dealer has always complied even though it is required by the state.

Mine told me that they will not do anything to your car without you standing next to it. Those guys are enthusiasts too and understand that this is a no no.

That's reassuring. Thank you.

The Performance Center doesn't drill the front bumper in advance, no. They have the mounting hardware, and will ask you if you need it done while you're there.

That's exactly what they did. They asked if I wanted to risk having no front plate. I had mine mounted, but hearing them drill was painful.

To follow up on this, there were no holes in the front at delivery. The holder, which I don't need, was in the trunk.

I had to drill my own holes for my skeene plate holder but they are under the bumper.

2 months later and I had no idea the plate holder was in the trunk until last night lol. I decided to install the cargo net and saw it under the trunk cover. Definitely won't be needing that

That's why your car was so slow all this time ...all that extra weight!
