Door seals replacement

When my door closes, it produces a disheartening thump caused by the door-body interaction and window vibration. Would replacing door seals help minimise the window vibration and improve the dampening of the closing mechanism?

I doubt it. The F30 seems to have a lot "cheaper" feel with the doors closing. My E90 had a nice "dense thud" when they closed, my F30 more of a rattle/bang.
