Very interesting...I might be looking at trying to lease an F30 335i. The residuals look surprising high...

Ideally a 3 year/36k miles lease. As little down as possible and with such a high residual...it looks like I should be in the mid $500 range - which is great.

335 July

So the latest, going to other dealers I've got this:
335, msrp 57K
dealer a, around $650/month, taxes up front
dealer b, around $550/month, taxes up front

just waiting to confirm with both that this is for 24/15 lease

if those numbers are true, I will sign.
I understand august will probably give better programs, but I can't imagine anything cheaper than dealer b really...?

Not nearly enough information to help you out here.

Is this a 2013 or 2014?

What month are you considering leasing, I'm assuming July?

Cash down?

Which incentives are in play?

MSRP: 57K

What's the negotiated selling price at this time? Do you currently own a BMW?

You said 24 months and 15K miles a year?

your dealer is in for a treat. Do your homework and don't negotiate around the monthly payment, that is the worst way to lease.

Know ALL your numbers, have your excel spreadsheet ready and know what you SHOULD be paying, for your complete lease. Then break it down to monthly payments and cash down.

The way you are approaching this is going to give max opportunity to the dealer to screw you over.

Guys,

Quick question - can I use 2013 June or 2013 July rates/residuals if I ordered a 2014 328i in June with the ED pickup in Aug (run my credit with BMWFS in June)?

The 2014 July rates suck :-(( People say about the 90-day lock-in period (60 days for East Coast) where you can choose between different terms/rates. Or, the only option I have now is to choose between 2014 July rates and 2014 August rates which are not out yet.

Any responses would be highly appreciated.

The 2014 MY rates apply and are your only option.

Thanks for the advice, ya I usually always go with msrp/cap cost reduction/rv/mf etc.

I'm just getting so fed up with the haggling, that once I heard monthlies in the range I wanted/expected I just said screw it.

So, as it stands, 2013 335x drive, msrp 57,100, $625/month,2000 due at signing (includes all fees etc), 24/15

Go through some posts in the forums. There are some good dealers who will give you a decent deal. I think I read somewhere, there is some dealer in NJ (forgot the name).

Here is Socal, there are so many dealers within a few ten miles, you can spend some time and get good competitive prices.

It is worth the time, though try working with a dealer where you don't have to haggle.

If you want to try working with a dealer on the west coast (I know some people have done this too), I can give you a couple of references in SoCal. PM me if you are interested.

There is a tonne of information out here, if you search and you will find some names and dealerships in your area which will likely give you a good price.

Also try posting in regional forums requesting for some references
Good luck!

Here's a tip: Drive to a jersey dealer and put down MSD's. It will save you a bunch of money. I wouldn't put anything down other than a MSD.

Although, the deal you're getting isn't soo bad if it includes taxes and stuff

Rates for the 2014 didn't come out until July so that's what your stuck with unless August is better

I know for June the 328 and 335 had the same residuals. It's either the same or 1% below the 328's.

Yes they are different. That MF is for a '13 328i. MF for all MY14(minus 6 Series) is .00127. RV is 1% less than those for '14 335. RV is for 36 months

2014 residuals will likely recover to where 2013's were at that point last year. Also, if the RV or MF breaks your bank than be cautious with those options
