M Performance wheel install DIY
Hey yall..
I wanted to share my latest video and thank everyone on the forums for the great guides and help on this. I was really lucky to find a killer deal on an M Performance wheel for my F32, and pull out that awful "sport" wheel. The other thing I really loved about this is that its different than any other M Performance wheel I have seen.. half that thicker softer leather, half alcontara! Rumor is that this was out of an M2, and incredibly enough came from Riga Latvia to Seattle in TWO DAYS. The wheel is perfect and the deal was too good to pass up. GOTTA love eBay! What I wanted to share was the "alternate" way of taking the wheel off, without opening the slits/openings on the back of the wheel. This wasn't my idea but from a pretty rough video on YouTube and worked like a champ! You don't have to potentially damage the rear cover with a screwdriver as you fish for the airbag clips, as neither the new wheel or my original had any damage and wanted to keep it that way.. Hi Guys
why don,t you try ledermanz on ebay he,s got a good selection of wheels and he is also based in latvia. I just fitted a custom wheel from him . Quality is excellent. Last edited by Welsh springer; 01-12-2018 at 12:55 PM.. |
