Spacer question
Hey guys, if I want to get spacers will I need to get studs also? Current front wheel size is 19x8.5 et35, was thinking of going for 5-10mm spacer. Thanks for any info regarding this question.

it much easier to remove and install your wheels with studs. i don't know why bmw uses lug bolts. studs are not as attractive since the stud will protude through the open end lug nut. you may be able to get closed end lug nuts if the stud isn't protruding out too far or extended lug nuts if they are. i don't find extended lugs to be attractive, though. |

i went with motorsport hardware. decent but some surface rust on the hex head annoys me. kalib0y is in long beach, ca and his customer service is great so it'd be a close option to consider for you... happy medium is apex race parts studs and lug nuts. if you choose a hex head i recommend using the "double nut" method to install them. kalib0y or apex will help you with the appropriate length stud for the spacer size you'll be using Last edited by alohasurftoad; 09-07-2016 at 03:40 AM.. |

I use Burger spacers. They come with extended lugs.
