May be wrong but don't think the Continental Winter Contact TS830P tyres are RFTs so you'd need to add the price of a Mobility kit etc to that price (or upgrade to BMWs Bridgestone package for £912 a set). Unless you've ordered the ED which I think comes with 16" non-RFTs?

Thanks Rob,
The car I have ordered does come with RFT's I have asked the Dealer if the Continentals are RFT's and if not have advised that I would like to upgrade to the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 RSC package as per the BMW Site as for an extra £40 it will be worth it. |

A cursory look seems to indicate the Blizzak LM-32 RFTs are around £115 a piece so a set of four comes in around £460 (incl tax & delivery), although might be able to do a deal for four. On BMW pricing that leaves £448 to cover a set of 16" steel wheels, fitting and balancing.
Have a sneaky feeling that BMW charge extra for storage - quoted price is £30 but I'd be surprised if you couldn't negotiate that down to 'free'

RobUK, your suspicion was correct about the Continentals not being Run Flats, They had ordered a Mobility Kit for it but they hadn't explained that too me. So I have insisted that I have the Bridgestone Blizzaks instead which they are going to order for me and send the Continentals back! Was a little surprised they had ordered them as they car isn't due until the middle of december and I haven't even paid for the Winter Tyre package yet so there was no order form for them!!
Many thanks for making it aware to me otherwise I wouldn't have known. |
