Msport steering wheel vs m3/4 wheel

now that the m3/4's have been released the steering wheels look almost identical to the m sport steering wheel from the f30. but based on the pictures they seem thicker. anyone know if they are the same (except for the m button) or is the M steering wheel actually thicker.

I saw it at the autoshow in person, does not look any thicker.

cool thanks. im assuming the m3/4 has the blue/red stitching? It's kind of great to hear that an Msport has a proper M steering wheel.

It's similar but not the same as the Msport. Not sure about the diameter difference (I obviously haven't sat in an M4) but it looks to be the same wheel as in the M6. Note the different paddles, contrast stitching, and the split down the center spoke of the wheel.

I'd say if you want to see one in person, go sit in an M5/M6 and see how it feels.
