Love love love our F31 diesel. Best all around car we've ever owned. Does everything well. 45 mpg highway at 80 mph! Also have the 335i for track days.

I got my F31 Sport Line back in September. I came from a 2008 X3 so the F31 ride is much softer but it handles so much better than the X3. It is also much more efficient and more fun to drive without sacrificing cargo space.
I got the Driver Assistance Packages I & II and really like the front and rear parking distance assistance. I didn't think I would "need" the blind spot warning but now that I have it I miss it when I drive my wife's car. I really like the HUD except for having to tilt my head to see it when I wear my polarized glasses. All in all I really like the wagon and would never go back to a SUV / SAV! |

I had to ask my dealer to make sure the roof rails came in black as silver seems to be the standard for the dealer here. It's one of the no cost options you have to check.

Same here... Although I chose the F32, I think a F31 with the M-sport and of course the N55 engine is my dream car. I don't have kids and typically like a 2-door, but this wagon is so f-ing sexy... Shame I can't have it. |

~ one more wagon question... some of the 'm sport pkgd' wagons have the small m badge on the front fender and some do not? does it simply depend on production run or time frame? one i looked at didn't have it and the one i purchased did.

~ i was surprised to see car & drivers latest test of 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. real good times for a wagon.

The F31 lookes much better proportioned than the f30 imo.
Ive had mine for nearly a month now and Im loving it. The only changes I have made so far are, ordered black front grilles and painted the rear reflectors, they were bugging me!

Don't get me wrong, I'd still take the functionality of the wagon, just wish we could get the larger motor!

I was at a stop light last night on one of our back roads, and had been playing with a Challenger SVT - so we gave it a go. I held my foot on the brake and gave it some gas, and when the light turned green, I lunged forward giving me the lead until 75 mph when it was time to shut it down (speed limit is 65). He was definitely gaining on me and surely would have taken me if we could have gone further but I was impressed i had him in my turbo 4 cyl off the start. With xdrive, launching seems to have given me the advantage!

Nice F31 topic here! Question for owner appart from the fuel millage is there any good reason to pick the 328d over the 328i? Seem like the 320d Oops the 328d I mean is much slower than the 328i and I don't like the way BMW n/a is pricing the 328d.

I can't wait until I get my wagon in early August! Although it won't be an msport like most of them here. I didn't feel like a 328d needed msport since I'll be driving it like a diesel.

With all that torque, you don't need to drive it like a diesel, drive it like you stole it

Well its all cosmetic, the non msport version will drive the same, but for me the sport seats are a deal breaker. Add the awesome steering wheel, black headliner, alu trim, aero kit...it really transforms the look of the car.

I hear ya... I just couldn't justify the cost.. My car will be fully loaded except for the msport and mperformance packages .. My biggest regret is that I'll be "stuck" with all those silver/chrome bits on the car.. I'm thinking about having them wrapped to make them black again.

Very happy with my F31 so far. Have every option except Sunroof and Electric Seats.
All Bmw Performance parts fitted inside and out. Running on HRE P44SC wheels. Wish there was MPPK kit for it though. |

A year on from getting my 330d and still very pleased with it. Only thing I might add would be the HUD. The tinting and windscreen strip is a factory option in the UK. Definitely glad I went for the sun[moon]roof - it makes a big difference to the interior in the winter.
Not everyone's cup of tea, but I'd go for the same interior again: |
