They said they would send me a module thinking it would resolve the headlight issue, which I would have to pay for ONLY contingent on me taking off my negative review. Thinking they would help, I took it off the negative review. I headed to my installer and he said I needed the angle eyes to fix my problem. I contacted USR to see if I could get the angle eyes and said I would pay for it. Erick @ USR stated they wouldn't help me in any way and basically said you're on your own. I told them I'll pay for a new kit and their response was we don't sell the lights anymore. (because they realized how many people were having problems.)
If anyone knows the name of the kit inside these DEPO lights please let me know.
Stay away from USR, never going to buy a product from them every again.

Thank you so much Erick @USR for ignoring my calls and selling me defective lights.
Still haven't been contacted to resolve my issue

I think those are the European spec headlights which contain additional motors for leveling. Not sure if they would plug and play with US F30s.

Will these headlights fit US 2014 BMW 3 GT? They list them for F30, but from what I know the headlights should be the same.

They have a parts search on there that should give you the details on what will and not fit. Also, you can contact them through their email for these questions. I would've pulled the trigger if USR didn't have them and if their shipping wasn't insane

Just got mine installed, took me about 6 hours (I'm much more in my element on the coding side of things ) I think they look fantastic, just hoping they don't show any problems in the future as some users have to reported. Currently I have Philips Diamond Vision H7s installed, and the white of those matches the LEDs quite nicely i'd say.

Here is a cheaper version of led lights for f30 2014.
https://www.sw-tuning.de/SW-DRLtube-...4c1e?tpl=clear
Its based in Germany and I don't think anyone can get cheaper than this aftermarket headlights for our BMW f30. I am planning to fit this on to my 320d 2015 efficient dynamic model.

Those cheaper ones look jus that, cheap! Was looking into them myself. Anyone kno if the new lci led non adaptable lights will fit in pre lci? Like the dimensions themselves? I realize wiring n coding will have to b done and also do the new lci led headlights have the auto leveling built in?
Thanks!!

Cheap doesn't really mean cheap quality wise. there are videos in YouTube from these headlights, where the guy retrofitted them clarifies about the quality of the build.
I am sure you and me have surely not seen the quality of this product, so without that please don't assume they are cheap.
If you want I can share the link to this video from YouTube...

I don't think he was commenting on the build quality. Most guys here seem to be purists, mod their cars with oem or oem-looking stuff. The Eagle Eyes style you linked doesn't have that oem style, and the fact that you can see the individual LED's make it look more previous-gen Audi than BMW.

OK, is there a budget option with BMW look available in Europe? Preferably in Germany?
I am looking forward to buy one for my 320d 2015 model.

Not sure what your idea of budget is, I think guys in Europe are buying the depo lights from schmiedmann.

What is everyone using for their high beams. I'm going to purchase these shortly and will probably run Morimotos for the low. I probably wont be using the high beams very often so I'm thinking of just putting in Philips Diamond Visions for the highs.

I've searched for weeks, pretty sure USR is the only place that gets regular bulk shipments of them.

Ummitza website claims it's in stock, but they just order them from the manufacturer when you order from them, so it takes several weeks.

USR told me 3 weeks ago that they'd be in stock in 3 or 4 weeks....so if that's true, it should be in stock any day now.

Hi Folks,
Was wondering if anyone can help comment on performance of Halogen bulbs supplied by USR (with Depo headlamps) or post pictures of beam cutoff - wanted to know if Morimoto HIDs (very tempted to order them!) are absolute must as some Depo users have criticised the USR supplied halogens of being inadequate when it comes to light output...

Not sure if there's a DIY video/post for Morimoto H7 Minis specific to F30, especially on the wiring/connections part...Can the HIDs be installed in Depo headlights without bake opening up the housing (since it requires drilling a hole for wires to pass through)...

Cheers...

P.S: When called up Retrofit source for advice on light to go with Depo headlights, they recommended HIDs as against LEDs ....saying even the Morimoto LEDs are immature at the moment and don't match the HIDs (H7 minis) in performance ...

There are no Morimoto H7 Mini's. There are Morimoto H1 Mini 7.0.

Are you talking about replacing the Depo projector with the Morimoto H1? That would require you to open the headlights, and the F30 headlights are sealed with Permaseal so you can't just bake them open.

Or are you talking about just using a Morimoto HID Bulb & Ballast kit in the existing projectors? This wouldn't be that difficult...you'd have to drill a big hole in the back cover to allow the ballast wiring to go through. I think you need to buy the mounting brackets as well.

HID bulbs emit light like halogens, evenly throughout surface the bulb.

LED headlight bulbs are just a series of surface mount led's that emit light on whichever surface it sits on. There will be certain parts of the bulb that emit no light. In a projector, you won't get as nice and uniform a beam as HID.
