Installed the Eagle Eye headlights on my car and they look pretty nice!
Just noticed the ballast for the LED ring is super hot after like 30mins driving. I put another HID ballast&bulb inside the housing too so I am a little bit concern about the heat now. |

The HID should be fine, but the ballast shouldn't be inside the housing with the bulb. You need to drill a hole in the cover and install the ballast to the bumper beside the horn\fogs.

Ok I just have a few questions about these. Can you program the lights so only the u shaped LEDs are on during the day ? I really don't want the inside projector on with the rest. Also are the bolts on the bottom of the headlights adjustment bolts or do you just screw them in until the are tight? The bolts I am referring to are the two bolts on the bottom of the headlight that you have to remove to get the light off the car. The are right in front of the plastic mud flap. 0

Sorry for the cross-post, but seems relevant to this thread. If anybody's looking for a deal on a brand new pair of chrome Eagle Eyes, mine are up for sale. Got a new job right after getting these and simply don't have the time needed for install. Price is OBO:

Hi guys. I'm new to all of this and jumping in the middle. Please can you send me a link for the exact headlights used here? From what I have seen, someone posted a link to a UK site selling for £250, is it really the same? |

I never bothered ordering again. I'll just wait for the led version like Oneighty is selling for the price to come down. At the moment it's over a $1000.

Guys how does the high beam work on these with HIDs? Is it like a Bi-Xenon headlight where a shutter moves up and down inside the projector?
Also the DRL on these headlights, are they just the U shape LEDs or is the inside projector on constantly as well? |

Hi yes your right there is a shutter that controls the the amount of light from the halogen h7 or if you fit hid kit then it controls that,
the drl are the u shape and the inside led projector same time. hope that clears it up for you. |

mmm il try it later and let you know ? i think they still flash at a decent brightness? I flashed some one earlier today to let them go and they noticed and went,
as far as I know i don't think you can code out the inside drl ive read that people have disconnected them totally? but i prefer them, they brighten up the u led acrylics and make them look better in my opinion. |
