truck sits in the drive. it gets covered in snow and ice. cars are nice and toasty in the garage! F80 is a no no for winter here, SUV is my wife's. so its either get a nice daily driver or thaw out the Raptor and scrape off the ice every morning. i don't like driving trucks very much. especially the Raptor is very crude. its "cool" but really its rubbish. lol.

F pace looks good. i would probably rather do an X6 if i wanted another SUV though. Audis have always seemed so bland and boring to me. except the RS7 which i love. Thats too expensive though!

Hmm seems like maybe the Merc is your answer then? I would think any other BMW in the 3 or 4 series range would just feel like a step down in terms of interior comfort and luxury unless you went the full individual route, but at that point you'd be nearing 5 and 6 series pricing so it wouldn't really make much sense to order a 3/4 series in that price range.

Get the C450, you wont regret it.

I have owned more MBs than BMWs. And recently just bought a C450. The interior is a big upgrade from my w204 C63. The power is nice as well. There are already tunes available. It makes a Great DD as well.

If anyone is complaining about maintenance cost, you shouldn't even look at a MB.

Its not a 3 series where everyone can afford to lease one.

On the other hand,

The gran coupe is a nice vehicle.

So i drove the 435xi gran coupe today along with a 340xi. SOLD. I am waiting until i can order the 440xi gran coupe. The car has a much more dialed in feel to me than the C450 had. The engine and transmission are perfectly synced. The new B58 engine felt a lot more responsive to me driving back to back you can feel a very significant difference. Feels almost like a 60hp bump! I love the comfort of the GC and it seems to have a little more rear seat room vs the C450 as well. The MB is REALLY good but i feel more in control with the gran coupe. The interior in red looks really awesome as well! Thats how i will order it. Mineral gray with coral red M sport. Wish i could get a 6mt but the 8 speed zf is sweeeeet!!!

Need some help deciding!

Let me explain. I already own a '15 6mt F80 M3. This car is going nowhere! Its my baby. No rain, no snow, etc. Its my toy for nice weather.

Wife has a GL350 Bluetec.

I also have a Ford Raptor crew cab truck.

I am replacing my '15 X5 35d. lease mileage is going to be up in about 4 months so i need to order something in the next month or 2.

Since my wife has the big SUV in case we need it for family trips and such, i won't go towards another X5. I love driving the X5 but i want to do an AWD car this time around.

The 435xi GC seems to make a lot of sense. Looks great, comfortable, rear hatch is very nice and its quick enough to be fun to drive. By the time i order i should be able to order a 440xi GC.

The C450 AMG is actually REALLY good. I like everything about it except i am really used to BMWs and a huge BMW fan. That said, i am exactly 50/50 here and just can't decide!

I am actually about 55% on the 440xi but i fear it will start to feel "cheapish" to me since i'm used to driving the M3 and loaded X5 and before that i had an F10 M5.

Either car i get will be custom ordered and just about all options. I like gadgets and high end finishing trim, etc. The C450 interior with Designo package and AMG seats is really about the nicest interior i've seen! A loaded up 4 series is not bad at all but slightly not as nice as the F80 i have…. decisions!! The C450 is also pretty quick, sounds awesome and even makes some nice aggressive exhaust popping in sport+. Obviously this forum will be swayed towards the 440xi GC but think about the other cars i already have. Would you want something completely different from the F80 as your daily driver/winter/rain/family taxi car? Or is the F36 different enough from the F80 to make sense and enjoy on its own?

The C450 is about $5k more expensive built how i like it.

Hard to argue with these AMG seats!! But i love my BMWs…… HELP.

Buy a Cayman GTS

Someone on here was able to get Merino leather seats and dash on their 435GC. I would look into that on your 440GC if you are ordering. Won't feel cheap at all then.

It's possible, but you might need to shop around until you find a dealer willing to do the extra legwork. Good luck.

I had a 450 and got a 435 gc, the Mercedes is built like garbage everything will make noise and rattle, not a smooth car at all to dd, If you do decide to get a 450 test drive the one you are going to buy, as some of them have noise issues, I got tired after 3 months of owning it and got the 435 gc so far its been perfect but only had it for a month and the hatch wow it is perfect, went in to buy an m3 and walked out with a gc. Hope this helps

I'd have to agree with the rattles, since the new facelifted mercedes, they haven't been built solid, I've heard a bunch of electrical to rattles and squeaks on the new C300/400/450. Which makes sense as they redesigned a bunch of things.

I'd go C450 or even IS350 IMO

search the forum or bimmerfest.com - I just saw it recently. You need to know the option code and then your dealer can get approval. Not much more money than Dakota!

edit: here you go

Great decision! I've had my MG/Coral GC for nearly a year now and love it. Seen a number of other GC's parked and they never look quite as good as mine in this color combination.

Do you live steep inclines or unplowed roads? If not, get some winter tires and get after it with the F80. Drive in efficient if needed

Another idea is to get a 996 C4S. AWD, 4 seats, good to go. A good friend of mine used his 996 TT for skiing trips in Colorado. wasn't really an issue other than ground clearance from time to time
