AUC Repaired 442M

Evening All

Noticed today that my O/S rear 442M appears to have been repaired at some point - certainly not during my ownership (which is 4 months now)

On the lip of the rim I can see paint flaking off........ Would attach a pic but do not have hosting service etc.

Anyhow, Ive arranged to take it in on Tuesday for the 'bodyshop' to take a look.

Question is, what can I reasonably expect them to do.

Offer another repair, hoping this time it will be of better quality

Or best case, admit they repaired it (badly) before I took ownership and offer to swap out for a new wheel??

Opinions please..?

Thanks all

Unless it gets refurbed properly this is always the case - it's a diamond cut finish and a £50 touch up repair will never last

Demand a new one. I've had two new rears on mine. Both came with the car from new but one had fatter spokes than the rest (looked like it'd been ground back and refurbished before) and another had some odd lacquer peel type marks on it.

When I bought mine from the dealer one of them was learned and it was repaired-after six months water got in and turned it into a mess. Got some new ones anyway as well known issue with corroding centre caps

Dealer replaced because of the centre corrosion not bad repair
