Drive for Team USA code

Anybody have a Drive for Team USA code that they're not going to use? I used mine and my wife wants to get a car now.

Credit expired 8/31/15 from what I've heard from dealers.

Mine would have expired in September if I didn't use it. It was all based on when you went to the event.

Is the Drive for Team USA credit not tied to the participant's name like the Ultimate Driving Event credit is?

The credit is the same as negotiating, they knock that 1k off msrp, which you can already do without it.

The 1000 comes off after you are done negotiating. Just like the USAA credit, the UDE credit, etc. You don't bring it up til you are done.

Not going to work, the code is tied to the participants name. I have one i am sitting on and wont use but it wont work for you either.

How does it work? I've placed an order thru a buddy of mine. He told me it won't work on a sold car (I agreed to buy at xx price & placed a 1k deposit already)? Anyone shed some light on this. I thought it was suppose to work before closing a deal or delivery.
