Placed and order for my 4th BMW

I placed and order for my 4th BMW (lease) and it is being built in Germany now with a completion date of January 28, 2016.

I currently own a 2013 335IS convertible and was deciding between another BMW or a Porsche.. I went went BMW because I felt was was getting significantly more value for the $ (Porsche was just so expensive for so little value..)

I ordered a 2016 435I Convertible with the following;

Tanzanite Blue
Track Handling Package
M Sport Package
19" Orbit Gray wheels
Technology Package
Heated Front Seats
Driver Assistance Plus
M Performance Power Kit (part #1112235337)

I am pretty excited (even though its my 4th BMW.. LOL)

With Tinted windows it should look incredible?

Comments? Thoughts?

I switched to a 981 boxster, and I can definitely say, different animal. If price is an issue, just buy used, the value on a used porsche is tremendous, but I do agree that a new porsche is rather expansive.

You joined 3 years ago and this is only your second post? I guess the first one was so you could tell everyone about your 335is? See you in 3 years!

I have a Boxster S I bought used, I love it! I was originally looking for something cheaper / older S2000, 987 Spyder of 987 S and came across the car I ended up buying. It was pretty much exactly what I would have ordered, with only a couple of very minor options I would not have bothered with, namely embossed crests on the headrests (less is more) and colored crests on the wheels.

I love the Boxster, every time I get in I grin, when I drive it I sometimes laugh out loud, sometimes I just sit in my garage and look at it, I am funny that way. The interior feels like a special place to be, and the sounds the car makes with the sport exhaust is inspiring, it sounds like some little dude is throwing fireworks behind the car as I gear down on twisty roads. Not a super fast car, not so important with this car.

The sticker on my car was like $100k + which is ridiculous for what it is! In the high $60s I think it is a fantastic bargain. The dealership was relieved to get rid of it, people in Beverly Hills don't drive no stinking' manuals!

Ah, a fellow 981 enthusiast . In terms of not being "to fast", I disagree, this is the first car where i don't wish I had more power, in that, more power would get the car going faster, however, what's the point when you already hit 60 before you even realize it. I installed a borla exhaust, only to find it way to loud, just have PSE now with no button, i don't see a need to turn it off. I find it interesting how people tend to bash BMW electric steering, the feedback is not that far off from Porsche electric steering, albeit the porsche system is heavier, similar to the BMW version in sport mode. Enjoy the Boxster, I know I smile every time i drive.
